ELF Education — an online English-learning platform

ELF Education runs online English-learning programs for students who want real, practical fluency. They came to Hej Labs for a digital home that explained the programs clearly, looked the part, and that their own team could keep up to date without calling a developer every time.

The challenge

Online education lives or dies on clarity. Prospective students — and the parents behind them — need to understand, in seconds, what a program is, who it's for, and how to start. ELF needed a site that did that without the clutter and stock-photo gloss of most course websites — and that wouldn't go stale the moment it shipped.

What we built

We designed and built a fast, accessible website with the programs front and centre, backed by a content system the ELF team owns:

• A clear program structure, so visitors find the right course quickly.
• A calm, readable interface that works as well on a phone as on a laptop.
• A Sanity CMS behind it, so ELF can edit copy, programs and content themselves — no deploy, no developer in the loop.

How it's built

A Next.js front end paired with Sanity as a headless CMS — content authored in a friendly studio, rendered fast and SEO-clean on the site. Performance and search foundations were built in from day one: quick to load, easy for search engines to understand.

The approach

True to how we work, we kept the team small and senior and shipped in short cycles — no long discovery phase, no hand-offs. ELF saw the real thing early and shaped it with us as it came together.

The result

ELF Education has a digital home that reflects the quality of the teaching behind it — and, because they control the content, one that grows with the programs instead of freezing in time.
