“Hej” just means hello — short, warm, unfussy. We started Hej Labs in Bali in 2020 to keep the part of building we love — small teams, real craft, shipping things people use — and cut the rest.
Around ten people, all based in Bali — a senior team that has built at and for some of Indonesia’s biggest tech companies. Remote-first with our clients from day one: no account managers, no offshore hand-offs, no twelve-week discovery phases.
We stay deliberately selective — a handful of projects we believe in, across AI, healthcare, hospitality, marketplaces, education and the internal systems that run a business, for clients in Bali, across Indonesia and worldwide.
